Although I do not have as much experience with this hustle compared to some others, I do have lots of experience as a seller on Etsy, so if you have never sold on Etsy before, here are some starting tips that I recommend to become a successful seller in a short amount of time 📈
Etsy Tips & Tricks (From Experience)
- Brand is Not Important: Although having a clean name, banner, and logo is satisfying, it really doesn’t matter on Etsy. I have seen stores with 100k+ in sales and they have an awful name, logo, and banner. This doesn’t mean ignore these factors, but do not worry to much about them in the beginning
- Consistency > Everything: ****The #1 most important thing on Etsy is listing consistently. At the beginning of a new account, list one item/variant per day, and continue that for 30 days. If you aren’t getting views and sales, you are doing something wrong (bad product, SEO, etc).
- SEO and Keywords: ****This is another significant factor in being an Etsy Seller. You can study other popular listings, but do not copy them as Etsy will not push copied keywords. Format your titles and photos similarly to the popular products, but find your own keywords related to your niche.
Goodluck! You got this.
